GrowHow UK announces winner of Nitram competition
David Northway of Breamore Estates in Hampshire is the lucky winner of a whole lorry load of GrowHow UK's prize draw that has been running for the past season to celebrate 45 years of Nitram manufacture.
Mr Northway was selected at random from customers who took delivery of 10 tonnes or more of GrowHow products during the 2009/10 season. Breamore Estates have used a range of GrowHow products and have been supplied by ACT for many years. The prize of forty five 600kg bags is worth in excess of £5,000.
GrowHow UK chief executive Paul Thompson presented Mr Northway with a certificate to commemorate his win at Cereals 2010.
"Not many agricultural brands have stood the test of time in the same way as Nitram," said Mr Thompson. "Forty five years ago it was part of the green revolution of British agriculture and today remains the most dependable product to optimise crop yields while minimising environmental impact - both during manufacture and in use."
