New Commercial Director for GrowHow UK
Mike Buchan will take on the role of Commercial Director for GrowHow UK with immediate effect as a replacement for David Stacey who will retire at the end of June after almost 40 years in the business.
Mike Buchan is currently Commercial Operations Manager with the company and he brings many years of valuable experience in fertiliser sales and commercial planning to his new role. Since the formation of the JV in September 2007, Mike has been responsible for GrowHow's process chemicals business and the company's total supply chain. There will be a three month hand over period.
Also with immediate effect, Richard Huxtable will assume responsibility for the Chemicals and Utilities business in addition to his current role as Fertiliser Sales Manager.

David Stacey, who implemented the commercial challenges since GrowHow UK was formed, said: "I have enjoyed a fascinating career, especially creating a new business dedicated to serving British agriculture during a very volatile period.
"I would like to thank customers and colleagues alike for making my career both enjoyable and fulfilling. Now I am looking forward to spending more time with my wife Cecily and the rest of the family."
GrowHow Chief Executive Paul Thompson said: "I would like to thank David for his significant contribution to the business. I wish him and his family a long and happy retirement. At the same time I welcome Mike Buchan to his new role as we continue to develop GrowHow UK."
